Episode 19: The Cosmic Arrogance — Why Bureaucrats Cannot Tax the Sun
Welcome back to Bakuro-cho.
Our recent episode on the "Dinosaur Paradox" triggered a massive response. It seems many of you are beginning to doubt the religious dogma that "CO2 controls the Earth's temperature."
Let’s use our common sense. If CO2 is the magical switch that controls the entire planet, did high CO2 levels also act as a magnet to summon the giant asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs? Of course not. That is absurd.
If you want to understand the Earth's climate, you must stop looking at trace gases (CO2 is only 0.04% of the atmosphere) and look up at the cosmos.
■ The Galactic Journey and the True Climate Drivers Our solar system does not sit still. It takes about 200 million years to orbit the Milky Way galaxy. Throughout this epic journey, the Earth is bombarded by varying levels of cosmic rays.
Here is an academically fascinating fact that the "Eco-Inquisition" ignores: Cosmic rays create clouds. When solar activity is weak, more cosmic rays from deep space hit the Earth, creating more low-level clouds. These clouds act like a giant white umbrella, reflecting sunlight and cooling the planet. When the Sun is active, its magnetic field blocks these rays, the clouds disappear, and the Earth warms up.
This is the real engine of climate change: The Sun and cosmic rays.
■ We Are Living in an "Ice Ball" The climate alarmists scream that the Earth is boiling. But geologically speaking, the Earth spends most of its history as a frozen "Snowball" or in Ice Ages. In fact, because we currently have permanent ice caps at the North and South Poles, earth scientists know that we are technically still in an Ice Age right now. We are merely enjoying a brief, warm "interglacial" pause.
■ The Ultimate Reason for the CO2 Lie So, if the Sun, galactic orbits, and orbital tilts (Milankovitch cycles) drive the climate, why do politicians and elite bureaucrats only talk about CO2?
The answer is human arrogance and greed. Bureaucrats cannot regulate the Sun. They cannot tax the Milky Way galaxy. They cannot charge a fee for cosmic rays.
But CO2? CO2 is produced by breathing, driving, cooking, and running businesses. By labeling CO2 as a "poison," governments and utility companies have created the ultimate excuse to tax human existence itself.
They are not trying to control the climate. They are trying to control you.
